My desire has always been to please God. Studying scripture, I learned that the Sabbath was His and to please Him I should delight in it by observing it to draw closer to him. Before a trip to Israel, I attended a Messianic Shabbat service which helped me prepare for my visit to Israel.
I’ve made a lot of new friends of like minded believers who desire to worship the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob!
I rest on the Sabbath and study scripture with other believers.
God blessed and set apart the seventh day from the beginning. Jesus/Yeshua is Lord of the Sabbath, and He kept it to please God. Since He’s my Lord then if I’m following Him I should keep the seventh day too.
God set the Sabbath apart and my desire is to please him!
